Terukir Di AJL

Akhirnya Yuna berjaya di atas pentas Anugerah Juara Lagu, setelah dinobatkan sebagai Lagu Terbaik AJL ke-27. Ini adalah percubaan kelima Yuna, selepas Dan Sebenarnya, yang berjaya menggondol tempat kedua, dan tiga lagu yang lain iaitu Cinta Sempurna, Gadis Semasa dan Penakut.

Tahniah Yuna.

Dan Tahniah kepada persembahan yang menarik oleh Aizat Amdan. Sweet and simple!

Aku puas hati dengan keputusan AJL kali ini. Sebab selain Terukir Di Bintang, aku juga gemarkan lagu Idola, mendapat tempat kedua dan Teman Pengganti, yang menggondol anugerah Persembahan Terbaik.

Hafiz, buat kali ketiga berturut-turut mengungguli anugerah Vokal Terbaik, satu pencapaian yang tidak boleh dinafikan.

I looove the opening showcase but Misha Omar, Ziana Zain and Faizal Tahir. You guys rock! Well done to the production team too.

Tapi ada juga benda-benda yang aku tak suka, seperti:

1. Penampilan Aaron Aziz untuk lagu Ombak Rindu. Too much and sooo last year!
2. Pentomin di awal persembahan Shila Amzah serta Jimmy Palikat dan One Nation Emcee, yang bagi aku tak relevan, meleret dan outdated. Sorry, guys.
3. Interviews with artistes by Faizal Ismail. May be the intention was to kill off time, but it was not tastefully done.

No Yuna on AJL27

It's official that Yuna will give AJL27 a miss!

According to her manager, Wawa, Yuna will not be performing on the night because it clashes with the recording of her latest album in LA, USA. Nevertheless, she will discuss with TV3 on selecting a singer to sing Terukir Di Bintang on that night.

Although I personally do not think Terukir Di Bintang will win, I was looking forward to watching her live performance.

Aku suka tengok persembahan dan interpretasi beliau secara live. Segar baik segi penyampaian mahupun gubahan lagu.

Anyhow, all the best to Yuna in the singing career. Do continue make us proud :)
