Abang Bomba Beraksi

Tapi Celebrity Rating 1Malaysia? Is this is joke? Do rakyat need such rating?

No check and balance to valid whether or not such policies or measures from the government effective and reached the rakyat.

Moga Cepat Sembuh Kawan

I was totally shocked when I first received the news. He was in the pink of health when I last met him back, a few weeks after he returned from Mekah. In fact, he's one of people who encouraged me to perform mine. He's really, really a good and caring friend. I pray hard for his speedy recovery.

Semoga Allah permudahkan beban sakitnya. Aamin...

Exam Fever Is Finally Over!

Alhamdulillah. Syukur.

I'd withdrew one paper and only took a paper for this fisrt semester. The subject that I dropped is Islamic Economics.

I really hope I could pass the Shariah Aspects In Business & Finance subject. Well, I've to admit that I wasn't fully prepared for the examination. In fact, I don't think I am that ready for a self-study part time studies. It is too overhelming for me.

Since I already have both of my legs in the court, it is life goes on for me. But I really need to sign up for preparation seminar eventhough I have to fork up RM500 per subject. At least, there will be someone to guide me in preparang for the exam.

And my younger classmates, please... please... stop discussing out loud at the 11th hour. Not only it made me more nervous, it was kind of annoying too.

So, one semester done, five more to go. Please keep wishing me luck guys because I really, really need it!

Regulator of the Year in the Asia Pacific Region

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) has been named as the winner of Bank Regulator of the Year in the Asia Pacific Region and Best Conduct of Business Regulator Award for 2012 during the Asian Banker Risk & Regulation Conference. The Central Bank received the award at the Asian Banker Summit 2012 held at the Bangkok Convention Centre on April 25th, 2012.
BNM has demonstrated exemplary supervision and rigorous conduct, successfully steering Malaysia's financial system to emerge mostly unscathed through the global financial crisis. It has strategically positioned and promoted Malaysia as the leading Islamic financial hub in Asia, at the forefront of the international market in Islamic finance. Islamic banking now accounts for 20% of the Malaysian banking system and the Sukuk market, representing more than 50% of the Malaysian bond market.

BNM formulated various measures and policies, such as its 'Guidelines on Responsible Finance', launching a series of moves to liberalize its financial sector to facilitate cross-border business transactions and enhance business efficiency, as well as placing emphasis on consumer protection, exhibiting rigorous yet responsible supervisory conduct.

About 1,000 delegates attended the Asian Banker Summit 2012, consisting of industry specialists, senior bankers, regulators, service providers and decision makers from leading institutions in Asia, the US, Europe and Latin America, where opinions and responses of practitioners from across the region to global issues are shaped.

The awards programme, administered by The Asian Banker is Asia's most important annual risk event featuring leading practitioners from a cross-section of banks and global regulators on a number of critical areas affecting the banking industry.
