Yuna Nominated for Best Asian Act

Another milestone for our very talented musician cum singer who has been nominated for the Best Asian Act in MTV European Music Award 2012. All the best, Yuna! She's the only nominee from the South East Asia region and will be competing against big names from Japan, South Korea and China.

Yuna is an independent Malaysian singer-songwriter, whose rise in the Malaysian indie music scene started from a strong following on MySpace.

Yuna is an independent Malaysian singer-songwriter. She achieved massive success when she won Best English song, Best Pop Song & Song of the Year at the prestigious AIM Awards, Malaysia's national music awards in 2009 for her self-titled debut EP. Since then, Yuna has furthered her career in the US with a nomination as one of MTV Iggy's Best New Bands in the World & being a part of Lollapalooza 2012 line-up. In April 2012, she released her self-titled full-length US debut album.
