Juita, Rina and I flew all the way from Kuala Lumpur to attend the wedding of our colleague, Tengku Marzilawati Tengku Mohamd in Tanjung Chat, Kota Bahru, Kelantan. The wedding reception was beautiful and the food was delicious. The bride's maid is a friend of mine too, who looked gorgoues in pink baju kurung!

Suka tengok kedua-dua mempelai tersenyum gembira di atas pelamin. And certainly, green could be a nice colour to walk the aisle.

Manila Trip 2011

This is my second trip to Manila, but this time I stayed in Makati, the business and financial district of Manila. I was sent to attend a 5-day seminar on key performance indicators of development banks.

Unfortunately, I had a severe stomachache on the second day, it really affected me for the next few days. I think it was due to my late dinner the night before. I was circling the Greenbelt area, looking for halal restaurant. At the end, I just walked into a McD, and bought myself filet-o-fish and fries.

Halal food is really an issue in Manila!

Welcome Danish Wafri

Alhamdulillah, my sister has safely delivered a 2.8kg healhy baby boy on 2 September 2011, 23:57 at Hospital Melaka. Syukur alhamdulillah. This is my first nephew. Teruja pakcik tau!

Maknya nak namakan bayi ini dengan nama Danish Wafri tapi si ayah masih berfikir-fikir katanya. Jangan lambat-lambat sebab pak long tak sabar-sabar nak memanggil nama anak buah pertama ini.

Congratulations Lia and Helmi. I hope the boy will do both of you, the whole family and his religion proud. Insya-Allah.
